I know that it is only the beginning of August, but it isn’t too early to start thinking about getting organized for back to school.
Begin by going through your children’s closets and drawers to see what items they may have worn out or outgrown.
Now start making your list of clothing and although you may not have the exact list of school supplies yet, you probably know the basics. Check your Sunday paper each week for back-to-school sales. If you are looking for savings you may want to chip away at your list slowly, by purchasing only sales items for the first couple of weeks and remember to stock up on the essentials. Involve the kids and make it fun for them, by going on a “hunt” for sales.
By getting a little head start you will be able to have less stress and avoid the lines the week before school begins.
